Hands-on Science Lesson

In Mrs. James' science class at Mariner Middle School, students are studying the compasses and the basics of using one.

During a hands-on activity, students worked in groups to navigate around the atrium. They had to read their compass which brought them to different letters scattered on the walls to decode a message. Which the exciting lesson come to life in a recent video issue of the district's "The Week in 62.4 Seconds".
