I am so excited for this school year and cannot wait to meet all of you! A little snippet about myself is that I was born and raised in Minnesota. I received my Bachelor's degree at University of Minnesota - Duluth, majoring in Psychology. Soon after, I got my Master's degree in School Counseling at University of Wisconsin - River Falls.
In my freetime, I enjoy going fishing with my family and traveling during the summers. I have only gone abroad once and cannot wait to plan my next destination to visit.
Please feel free to call or email me to introduce yourself. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

I have been working at Sunrise Park as a School Social Worker since 1998. I received my Bachelor of Social Work at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and my Masters in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine. I live in White Bear Lake with my husband, Jake, daughters Celia and Kate, and my yellow lab, Lucy. I enjoy reading, running and relaxing at the cabin. I have also enjoyed being one of the WEB Coordinators at Sunrise since 2006.
I started working for the White Bear Lake School District in 1997. While I have worked in the elementary and high school settings in the past, I have been at Sunrise Park Middle School as the School Psychologist since 1998. I have three children and live in Woodbury. When not working, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking and staying active!
I grew up in Iowa and moved to Minneapolis eight years ago. I loved it so much that I'm still here! I'm very excited to be at Sunrise Park Middle School this year! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bethel University and my Addiction Studies Certificate from the University of Minnesota. I have been working in the chemical dependency field for the past six years. In my free time I love spending time with my family, traveling to new places and anything active during all the seasons!
